Levi was the first & only kid born on the farm in 2013 so he is quite spoiled.   I am really happy with his conformation.  He has a long elegant neck that blends smoothly into his body, lots of dairy character, sharp withers, and nice angulation.  He has an uphill stance & always carries his head really high.  He always looks like he is prancing & strutting his stuff.  I love his markings & adorable little face too.  His dam has large easy to milk teats & and a really strong MSL.  Her capacity is very good for a doe that only had a single kid.  His dad comes from a long line of amazing Nigerians.  I can't wait to see some freshened daughters out of this little boy.  Hopefully I can get some clipped pictures with Levi set up a little better next year - he is still young & has a major case of ADHD so just getting a picture that is not a blur is quite an accomplishment at this point!  Levi also has wattles like his mom.

Stuart is a very sweet mellow boy.  He is right on my heals everywhere I go.  I hope he passes his personality on to his kids.  This guy has some amazing udder genetics.  His sire is the full younger brother to CH Poppy Patch RC Poppy Seed & littermate brother of Poppy Patch RC Cherish who both have amazing udders.  His paternal sister Poppy Patch CM Catalina is a beautiful doe with an amazing udder as well.  These animals can be seen at www.poppypatchfarm.com .  I can't wait to get some daughters out this boy!  Stuart is sharp angular with loose dairy skin (which makes clipping difficult!) & correct feet and legs.

Nigora (Nigerian/Pygora cross) Wethers

Jasper

 DOB - 03/12/10
Sire: Hawks Mt. Ranch LookAtYou Buckaroo (Registered PBA Pygora w/dark gray type A fleece)
(Hawks Mt. Ranch Black Bo x Hawks Mt. Ranch Cherry Cheesecake)
Dam: Camanna MB Chardonnay (Registered Nigerian Dwarf)
(Twin Creeks PD Megabuck x Mountain Qwest Melinda)

Jasper and his siblings Gizmo & Lily were purchased from Crickview Ranch in Northeastern Oregon.  They are not registered, but are wonderful pets that produce the softest cashmere type fiber I have ever felt.  Their fiber sheds out in late February/early March.  Once they shed they look like Nigerians, only a bit larger. Jasper is the largest goat on the farm weighing nearly 100 lbs.  He is probably the smartest one too.  He loves to open & close the gate to the goat pen and his stall - sometimes letting himself (and the rest of the herd) out, and other times shutting me or his brother & sister in their stall.  Luckily he hasn't figured out how to unhook the latch on the gate yet so as long as it is latched he stays where he is supposed to be.  This boy is big & incredibly strong, but just as sweet as can be.  He is very well mannered on a leash & loves to go for walks.

Gizmo
