I am so excited to add this gorgeous boy to my herd. Thank you Anna at Cammana's Petite Paradise for letting him move to Sapphire Moon Farm! I have had my eye on this handsome young fella for quite a while. Then when I had a problem getting my does bred to Apollo this fall Anna offered to let me lease or purchase Jonquil. I was going to just lease him because I really didn't have the money to bring in a new buck due to some vet bills for my cat, but thanks to a couple awesome friends who chipped in I was able to purchase him! Jonquil is as mellow & sweet as he is cute & I adore him already. His dam is a gorgeous doe with a beautiful mammary system - very high wide rear udder & huge teats! And his sire's dam is a gorgeous doe with a beautiful mammary system - strong medial, high wide rear attachments & correct teat placement. She also comes from a long line of goats that have done exceptionally well in the show ring. Jonquil is a very correct young buck with correct front & rear legs, a really wide escutcheon arch & lots of width between the hocks. I think he is going to produce very correct daughters with beautiful mammary systems. I usually don't show bucks but I hope to get this boy in the show ring next year too!

Elfin Acres Z Buckwheat

When I transported my goats over to Elfin Acres for Linear Appraisal I parked my truck right in front of her young buck pen. Every time I walked past I saw Buckwheat standing out in the pasture with his head up high & all feet perfectly square like he was all setup in the show ring. He really caught my eye. A few days later Marybeth & I both had our goats at the Lane County Fair. I ask her if the nice looking little black & white buck kid she had in her young buck pasture was for sale. He was, so he came home with me a couple weeks later. I picked him up late enough in the year that I decided not to give him a good show clip for pictures. I had planned on getting pictures in 2020 when I clipped him for Linear Appraisal, but since LA was cancelled I decided to just leave the boys hairy this year. I will get better pictures of this little guy next year, but for now fuzzy pictures are all I have.
